Microsoft Regsitered Refurbisher

C2KIT’s remanufactured laptops and refurbished desktops are expertly rebuilt by our Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher and come with a Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity.

A Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity means that C2KIT computers are pre-installed with genuine Microsoft software for the use in commercial business, at home and at non-profit organisations. Having a genuine Microsoft operating system pre-installed means, you have access to operating system downloads, updates, and enhanced features; an upgrade path to future releases of the Windows operating system software; and you can access free web-based support services from Microsoft or purchase support from Microsoft on a fee-per-incident basis.

Only using genuine Microsoft operating systems, C2KIT complies with the following Microsoft requirements, amongst others:

Windows 10 Pro
  • The contents of the hard drive are erased before installing the Windows operating system; and
  • The number of remanufactured laptops and refurbished desktops shipped per month exceeds the minimum average threshold set by Microsoft; and
  • Technical competence to pre-install Windows operating systems exists; and
  • Appropriate security measures are in place to ensure the safe storage and handling of Certificates of Authenticity; and
  • Adequate systems are in place for data wiping and reporting, on all hard disks; and
  • There is conformance with applicable local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
